Originally hailing from Los Angeles, and now an early-retired New Yorker, Alanna Bailey settled in Boston where she is finishing her MFA in poetry at Boston University, under Robert Pinsky and Dan Chiasson (she's fairly certain this is what heaven is like). Some of her poetry can be found on the pages of Armchair/Shotgun No. 2, Armchair/Shotgun No. 3, Armchair/Shotgun No. 4, and Yale’s SAGE Magazine. Her creative nonfiction can be found in Publik/Private.
