Amber Dawn is the author of the Lambda Literary award-winning novel, Sub Rosa. Her memoir How Poetry Saved My Life: A Hustler's Memoir was the winner of the 2013 Vancouver Book Award. Her newest book Where the words and my body begins is a collection of glosa form poems. Her writing traverses themes of sex work, queer identity, survivor pride and the transformative power of literature.
