Angie Chatman is a writer and storyteller. Her essays and short fiction have been anthologized in Dine (Hippocampus Books), and have appeared in Blood Orange Review, Hippocampus magazine, and fwriction:review. She is a frequent contributor to Business Insider, where she writes about finance and racial inequality. Angie has appeared on stage for The RISK! podcast, StoryCollider, and the television series Stories from the Stage (World Channel). An engineer by degree, she also holds an MS in management from MIT-Sloan, and an MFA in fiction and creative nonfiction from Queens University of Charlotte. Angie lives in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston with her husband, children, and rescue dog, Lizzie.
