Ashni Mohnot

Ashni is a 2025 Oxbelly Fiction Fellow. She was longlisted for the Disquiet Prize and the Masters Review Prize for New Narratives. She graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Human Biology and English (Creative Writing focus) and MA in International Education.   In previous careers, she launched an education finance venture on Income Share Agreements that won her an Echoing Green fellowship and opportunity to present at Davos; helped hundreds of students get into the world’s top colleges; grew her family’s hospital disinfectants business; developed curricula on social justice movements; and wrote and edited content for businesses in multiple industries. She is a member of Mensa.
