Christina VandePol is a retired physician and former coroner who combines her love of medicine and language by writing creative nonfiction, mostly about medicolegal death investigation and its intersection with public health, medicine, and justice. When she’s not writing, Christina tends a wild garden and volunteers at a free medical clinic. She lives in West Chester, Pennsylvania where she is completing her first book, a hybrid memoir about her experiences as coroner. Read more at her website christinavandepol.com.
