Debra Monroe

Debra Monroe is the author of four books of fiction and two memoirs. Her books have won many awards, including the Flannery O’Connor Award. Her essays have appeared in the New York Times, Salon, The American Scholar, Guernica, and they have been cited for Best American Essays often. She lives in Austin, Texas.
