Sitting on a creaking porch of a shack on the bijou one nite, Elana was zapped by the moon and posessed to draw these comics against her will. Now, her favorite activities include: playing ouija board with Robert Johnson, longs nite strolls through the enchanted part of the forrest, and deciphering ancient alien frequencies broadcast hundreds of years ago in an attempt to warn Earth of it's own demise. Her biggest influences are Tex Avery, Spy vs. Spy, Fleischer Studios animation, The Far Side, and Bob Clampett. She learned the bulk of what she knows about cartooning from John K’s blog and books, which she feels are much more valuable tools than a corporate chain animation school. She recently moved to the LA area to study drawing and animation with Spumco artist Jim Smith. [email protected]
