Evan Joseph Massey is an African-American US Army veteran who served his country in Afghanistan. His work can be found or forthcoming in Willow Springs, Southern Indiana Review, Santa Clara Review, Tulane Review, and others. He has received a residency from VCCA. He also has a Best of the Net Nomination. He’s currently in pursuit of his MFA at Virginia Tech.
