Gail Mackenzie-Smith is a recovering advertising art director and copywriter. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts from UC Riverside/Palm Desert. Besides screenplays, she also writes flash fiction, creative nonfiction, and essays. Her work has been published in Electric Literature, The Sun, Belladonna Comedy, Dorothy Parkers Ashes and elsewhere. She lives in L.A. with her husband, an adorable poodle terrier mix, and a couple of coyotes who hang out in front of her house every night.
