heather hughes is a poet, academic publishing professional, and letterpress printer who hangs her heart in her current city of Somerville and her native Miami. Her poems recently appear or are forthcoming in The Adroit Journal, Denver Quarterly, Gulf Coast, Vinyl Poetry, and Whiskey Island, among others. The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds.
