Jamy Bond is a fiction and nonficition writer. Her work has appeared in The Sun, The Washington Post, Washingtonian Magazine, Peace Corps Writers and on National Public Radio's The Sound of Writing. She received a Fulbright grant in creative writing and spent three years in Mozambique researching and writing a novel. Most recently, she spent a year in Iraq working for the United States Agency for International Development. Her essay, What Feels Like Destiny,published in The Sun, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
