Jasmine V. Bailey is the author of Alexandria, Disappeared and the chapbook Sleep and What Precedes It. She has been an Olive B. O’Connor Fellow at Colgate University, a Fulbright Fellow in Argentina, and a fellow at the Vermont Studio Center. She won the Michigan Quarterly Review's 2019 Laurence Goldstein Prize, the 2020 VanderMey Nonfiction Prize from Ruminate Magazine, was a finalist for the 2018 Gulf Coast Translation Prize, and is a contributing editor for Waxwing Literary Journal.
