Jennie Burke holds a BA in English and secondary education and an MFA in nonfiction. After teaching English to grades 6-12 for many years, she shifted to speaking to school groups about her experiences as a person impacted by addiction. Jennie’s work in progress is a collection of mini-memoirs about her years as a sister, daughter, mother, and wife in a family struggling across the addiction spectrum.
