Jennifer Gilbert holds an MFA in creative nonfiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and is working on a memoir about the subject she’s explored here, and an essay on kink and birthing was recently published in Cosmopolitan. She is the proprietress of Kink Coaching, where she helps clients integrate sexual deviance into their lives and relationships. The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere.
