Jeremy T. Wilson is the author of the short story collection Adult Teeth. He is a former winner of the Chicago Tribune's Nelson Algren Award for short fiction and his work has appeared in The Florida Review, Jet Fuel Review, The Masters Review, Third Coast, Best Small Fictions 2020, and other publications. His debut novel, The Quail Who Wears the Shirt, is forthcoming from Tortoise Books in Fall 2023. He teaches creative writing at the Chicago High School for the Arts.

The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere. We lift up new voices alongside those of more established writers our readers may already know and love. We want to bring new perspectives into the conversation that will make us all look deeper.
