Jerome Ellison Murphy earned his MFA from the Creative Writing Program at New York University, where he currently serves as Undergraduate Programs Manager. He currently co-curates the Bespoke readings series at Bureau of General Services Queer Division bookstore, and is a frequent participant in the Emotive Fruition performance series curated by Thomas Dooley. He has also served on the board of Lambda Literary Foundation, the world's foremost non-profit supporting LGBT literature.
