Helen Levinson was fourteen years old in the 1940s when she left Lublin, Poland. I was fifteen years old in 2005 when I arrived.

Jessie Atkin received her MFA in creative writing from American University in May of 2015. She has had short stories featured in the Young Adult Review Network, Digital Americana, and Quantum Fairy Tales.
