karo ska (they/them) is a Polish-Bengali immigrant writer. Anti-capitalist and anti-authoritarian, they find joy where they can. Their writing focuses on interrogating the intersections between identity, oppressive systems, and trauma. Their work has been supported by McCormack Writing Center (formerly Tin House Summer Workshop), Anaphora Arts, Community Literature Initiative, and the California Arts Council. They are a 2026 Periplus Collective Fellow. Author of loving my salt-drenched bones (World Stage Press, 2022), they are currently working on a grief memoir and a speculative novel on dragons and revolution.
