Kelly Morse’s poetry and creative nonfiction have appeared in Brevity, Alimentum, Quarter After Eight and elsewhere, while her Vietnamese translations are forthcoming in Asymptote. A graduate of Boston University's MFA program, her work has been nominated for Best of the Net, and she is a Vermont Studio Center fellowship recipient. She must be a sucker for extreme weather conditions, because after living for two years in Hanoi, Vietnam, she now endures lake effect snow on the shores of Lake Superior. www.kelly-morse.com

The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere.
