Kenneth Oppel is the Printz Honor author of Airborn, and many other bestselling books for young readers including Silverwing, Half Brother, The Boundless, The Nest, and his latest novel, Every Hidden Thing. A three-time nominee for The Hans Christian Andersen Award, he lives with his family in Toronto, Canada.

The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere.
