Kevin Quigley is a cartoonist and painter, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, who has been living in South Jersey for the past 25 years. His cartoons, comics, and essays have appeared in publications by Fantagraphics, Top Shelf, Simon & Schuster, Picture Box, and Blast Books, as well as in The Funny Times and Japan's GARO. His solo book, Big Place Comics, was the recipient of a Xeric Grant in 1997. That same year, he edited Comics Underground Japan (Blast), a landmark anthology of alternative manga. Quigley's paintings have appeared in South Jersey galleries from Milville to Cape May, in Philadelphia, NYC, Jerome, Arizona, and Tokyo, Japan.
