Kim Samek

Kim Samek is a half-Thai Emmy-nominated comedy writer and television producer, with credits including PBS’ WordGirl, Issa Rae’s Sweet Life: Los Angeles, and MTV’s Catfish. Her short fiction appears or is forthcoming in Catapult, Guernica, Ecotone, Southern Humanities Review, Gulf Coast, Electric Literature, swamp pink, North American Review, The Threepenny Review, Story, and ZYZZYVA. A native of Seattle, she lives in Los Angeles.
