Kris Bigalk is the author of two poetry collections, Repeat the Flesh in Numbers (NYQ Books, 2012) and My Narcissus (NYQ Books, forthcoming in 2018). Her work has appeared in The Good Men Project, Water~Stone Review, and other literary magazines, and in various anthologies, including Down to the Dark River (Louisiana Literature Press, 2015) and The Wandering Moon (Negative Capability Press, forthcoming in 2018). She directs the creative writing program at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minnesota.

The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere. We lift up new voices alongside those of more established writers our readers may already know and love. We want to bring new perspectives into the conversation that will make us all look deeper.
