Laraine Herring’s memoir A Constellation of Ghosts: A Speculative Memoir with Ravens, will be released 10/19/21 from Regal House Press. She is also the author of Writing Begins with the Breath, The Writing Warrior, On Being Stuck: Tapping into the Creative Power of Writer’s Block, Lost Fathers: How Women Can Heal from Adolescent Father Loss, and The Grief Forest: a book about what we don’t talk about. She’s the founder of the online ‘zine Hags on Fire, a space for women to write about perimenopause, menopause and aging, minus the male gaze, and she’s a tenured professor of creative writing and psychology at Yavapai College.
