Lauren Kalstad

Lauren Kalstad is a poet, essayist, and professor. Her work has appeared in New Orleans Review, Tupelo Quarterly, World Literature Today, The Southeast Review, and elsewhere. She is a nominee for both Best of the Net and Best Spiritual Literature. Kalstad earned her MFA from New York University and currently teaches at the University of North Texas. An enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation, she lives in Dallas with her husband and daughter.
