Maery Rose lives in Minnesota, where she once drove hay rides with two draft horses named Bill and Bob. She has had short stories and essays published in 101 Words, Allium, The Campus Eye, and Minneapolis Star Tribune and is currently working on a memoir about her adoptee life and a novel, based on the Selkie folk tale.
