Maggie Levantovskaya

Maggie Levantovskaya was born in Kiev, Ukraine and grew up in San Francisco. Though she received a PhD in Comparative Literature, she has found a second creative life as a writer of nonfiction. She writes about chronic illness, disability, and employment precarity. Her essays have appeared in Michigan Quarterly Review, Lit Hub, and Catapult. Currently, she’s teaching and organizing an adjunct and lecturer union at Santa Clara University.
