Maia Morgan’s writing has appeared in Glamour, Creative Nonfiction, The Chattahoochee Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, on The Manifest Station and in The Best American Nonrequired Reading. She is finishing a memoir, "The Saltwater Twin and Other Mythical Creatures," and blogs at thesaltwatertwin.com about words, memory, road trips, yoga, and dogs. She has taught writing and theater in schools, health care centers and jails in Chicago and is pursuing an MFA in fiction at Rutgers. She lives with her girlfriend, Erin, and a somewhat eccentric dog and cat.
