Meghana Mysore is an Indian American writer from Portland, Oregon. A 2022–2023 Steinbeck Fellow in Creative Writing, her writing has appeared in The Yale Review, Indiana Review, Passages North, Pleiades, AAWW's The Margins, Boston Review, and the anthology A World Out of Reach (Yale University Press). A Tin House Scholar, finalist for The de Groot Foundation's LANDO Grant, and a Bread Loaf-Rona Jaffe Scholar in Fiction, Meghana's work has also been supported by the Mendocino Coast Writers' Conference and the Martha's Vineyard Institute for Creative Writing. She is working on a novel exploring loss, longing, and memory in three generations of a South Indian American family.
