Noor Ibn Najam is a Callaloo, Watering Hole, and Pink Door fellow. His work has been published with The Academy of American Poets, BOAAT, Blueshift, the Texas Review, and Winter Tangerine, among others. His poetry will be included in the third volume of Bettering American Poetry. His chapbook, Praise to Lesser Gods of Love, won Glass Press's poetry contest and will be published as a part of their 2018-19 Chapbook Series.

The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere. We lift up new voices alongside those of more established writers our readers may already know and love. We want to bring new perspectives into the conversation that will make us all look deeper.
