Parul Kapur’s debut novel, Inside the Mirror, about twin sister artists in 1950s India, won the AWP Prize for the Novel and was published in March 2024. Her award-winning fiction appears in Ploughshares, Pleiades, Prime Number, Midway Journal, and elsewhere. Her arts writing appears in the New Yorker, Los Angeles Review of Books, Guernica, and the Paris Review. The Hambidge Center, Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and Jentel have awarded her writing fellowships. She has an MFA from Columbia University and lives in Atlanta.
