Stephen Sacco

Stephen Sacco grew up in California and New York and now lives in Scotland. Stephen worked in journalism in the American South and in New York state for nearly ten years, before heading to the UK, where he earned a doctorate in creative writing and literature from the University of St Andrews in 2019. He started writing with plays and his play, Dance of the Fat Kid, was awarded the B. Rodney Marriot Award for Playwriting and produced at New York University's Festival of New Works. He is currently finishing a novel titled Little Aldo, and an academic monograph about dwarf characters in fiction. He is a Visiting Scholar at the University of St. Andrews.
