Thomas H. McNeely is a former Wallace Stegner fellow and Jones Lecturer at Stanford University, and the recipient of a literature grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. His stories have appeared in The Atlantic Monthly, Ploughshares, Epoch, and The Best of the South, Vol. II. Chapters from The Secret World, his novel in progress, can be found in StoryQuarterly and New South, Vol. 1.
