TriQuarterly, once called “perhaps the preeminent journal for literary fiction” by the New York Times, will no longer exist as a “printed product” next year.
Unfortunately this does not mean that the publication, which has been in print for over 45 years, will simply be transitioning to an online format. TriQuarterly‘s editor, Susan Firestone Hahn, and its associate editor, Ian Morris, apparently won’t be keeping their jobs. According to an email sent by Morris “Northwestern University will be giving the name TriQuarterly to an online ‘open source’ student-run journal.”
