Artist Isaac Littlejohn Eddy recently interviewed Hooman Majd, author of The Ayatollah Begs to Differ: The Paradox of Modern Iran, for The Sun & Anchor.
Aside from being an interesting discussion about Iran, writing, belonging to two worlds, and Islam, it is also compelling because the interview is illustrated by Eddy and includes audio segments from the conversation.
According to Isaac his hope is that “while you play the audio from the interview and scroll down panel to panel […] you have a small sense of being there with us.” He also hopes that the next time he interviews Majd “he’s wearing something easier to draw than a seersucker blazer.”
