Friday 10/16: Drink in the pursuit of knowledge! Whiskeyfest holds its 3rd annual drink-a-thon with tastings and guest speakers to teach you everything you could possibly need to know about the brown booze. 6.30-9.30pm at the Marriott hotel, 55 4th St. $110-$150.
Saturday 10/17: The Potrero Hill Festival starts bright and early (for a Saturday) at 11am. Check out local vendors for free, and end the day with a hot corn dog a cold beer at Thee Parkside.
