Rumpus books editor Andrew Altschul‘s first novel, Lady Lazarus, is on sale for an obscenely low price this holiday season: for less than $7 (with shipping) you get the mint-condition hardcover at used-paperback price.

San Francisco Magazine calls the book “astounding,” and Andrew Sean Greer (who is headlining The December Monthly Rumpus) says “Altschul is one of our great young writers, and Lady Lazarus is the proof.”

At 560 pages you’re getting a lot of book for your buck… though you may want to consider buying a larger stocking.
