I featured Awazu only once before (in Give Us Back Man) but I love his work and I’m tempted to post it all the time (especially his “fingerprint” works). Butdoesitfloat covered him last year and I suggest you check out their page.
The title is King of Circles (Maru no Osama). Thank you to the commenters, especially Colin who added that it is “volume 2 in a text book series called ‘Science Friend’ (Kagaku no Tomo)” and that “the gist of the text is a number of different (mostly round) objects claim to be the “King of Circles,” in a variety of ways meant to be entertaining to small children.”
