Because It’s Friday…

We’re not ones to mention Stephen Colbert (there are plenty of sites that have reposting the man’s work covered), but Rumpus contributor Lincoln Michel, author of one of our most popular articles, “Reality Boredom: Why David Shields is Completely Right and Totally Wrong,” would like you to know that David Shields got the Colbert treatment last week.

How’d it go? According to Michel “Shields looked a bit like a deer in headlights as  Colbert pounded him about copyright and appropriation,” but it’s still good “to see a literary writer and a literary debate get TV time.” Click here to view the segment.
