I used this project as an opportunity to send some questions to one of my favorite people, Josh Madden. Josh lives in New York City and besides DJing, styling, writing, and hosting a weekly Internet radio show, he’s a positive, inspiring, and all-around sarcastic fellow.

Asha Galindo: When was the last time you drew a picture? What was it?
Josh Madden: Not too long ago I drew a picture of Zack Morris and Morrissey standing side by side in tuxedos… I called it Zack Morrissey.
Galindo: What’s something you’ve always wished someone would ask you? Not necessarily in an interview or something like that, just, like maybe there was something you were dying to reveal about yourself or say but no one ever asked you your opinion or thought on the matter.
Madden: What’s my favorite number?
Galindo: What’s the earliest thing you can remember?
Madden: Cutting my finger on accident with a shaving razor when I was four… I have a scar, two lines, on my left index finger.
Galindo: Tell me a joke.
Madden: How many hipsters does it take to screw in a light bulb? It’s a really obscure number you’ve never heard of.
Galindo: When was the last time you lied?
Madden: I agreed with someone when they said I was twenty-three the other day… It’s not really a lie, I feel like I’m twenty-three most of the time.
Galindo: If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Madden: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
Galindo: And finally, do you know the muffin man?
Madden: As a dues-paying member of the Muffin Makers Union I’d like to inform you that the politically correct term is Muffin Person as the Union does not discriminate in muffin making activities as long as participants cooperate and adhere with Union standards.
