Mullets Illegal in Iran

According to the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, mullets are now illegal.

And that’s not it: pony tails, spiky hair, and long hair in general—on men at least—have been deemed “decadent western hairstyles.”

But as much as many of us wish we could go back and ban the 80’s, it’s just not gonna happen, and it’s just creepy and kind of evil of Iran to try it (though that’s not really surprising, since creepy and evil is kind of what their government specializes in.)

We’re different here at the Rumpus. We like to celebrate our embarrassing past, and quite often, the embarrassment that is our present.
