Remember when Steve Almond interviewed his mom about her new book, The Monster Within: The Hidden Side of Motherhood? (That’s right, Steve’s mom wrote a book about a mother’s fear of having a terrible child.) Well now the NYTBR has reviewed her book.
While we’re talking about Mr. Almond we should mention that his self-published collection, Bad Poetry, which features truly horrific prose as well as astonishing cover art by Brian Stauffer, is now available at the Harvard Book Store.
