In his essay “There Is a Head Rolling Over the Platform: The Strange Case of George Lippard’s The Quaker City” Rumpus columnist Nicholas Rombes writes that Lippard’s “best novels churn up something far weirder and super-black India inky than even [Edgar Allan] Poe could conjure.”

Now GalleyCat, prompted by Rombes’ essay, has tracked down links to two of Lippard’s novels online (including The Quaker City). Enjoy.
