I’ve often said that Frost’s well-known poem is one of the most misinterpreted in American poetry (among casual readers, that is), and this story in the Guardian seems to back me up. It tells the story of Edward Thomas and Robert Frost’s friendship. It’s a sad story, but a worthy one to spend some time with. Check it out.
