Hilarious book trailers are becoming more and more common, which is a trend I totally welcome. Wayne Koestenbaum who has attained the ultimate trifecta of poet, academic and novelist, has got a new book coming out in August called Humiliation. He’s hyping it like a true literary hustler—via a series of Picador’s vlogs called “Dear Wayne, I’ve Been Humiliated.”
The vlogs encompass a spectrum of instructional and cautionary humiliating situations–sending accidental emails, hot dates and cold sores–that kind of thing.
