Megan Boyle Interview

“I wrote a lot of things in the book because I thought I’d feel better if I could see something I thought or felt instead of letting it exist as this amorphous, pre-language, half-real thing in my head. My brain compulsively organizes things, and sometimes it tries to organize feelings which seems kind of impossible, but it still tries to do it. I’d like it if people thought of my writing as emotional.”

At Metazen, Brittany Wallace interviews Megan Boyle about her new poetry book Selected Unpublished Blog Posts of a Mexican Panda Express Employee. Boyle will be reading at St. Mark’s bookshop on February 20th for an evening celebrating Muumuu House.
