A Week in the Life of an LGBT Writer

By

Lambda Literary feature “The Banal and the Profane” returns with a post by Leon Baham.

Each installment involves an LGBT writer chronicling a week of life day by day, and Baham also organizes things alphabetically; his topics range from “Adult Relationship” to “Sleepyhead” (who needs those letters after S anyway?). A preview:

“Joe and I both had a parent die from disease when we were young and so we joke about death often. Our jokes might be tasteless to others but to us they taste of each other, a taste we recognize as home with the dog, the bed, the Danish Modern furniture.”
