Gibson is the author of It Becomes You and two Minnesota Book Award winners, Polar and Skirmish, which Rumpus reviewer Sean Singer calls “a smart, clever, pyrotechnical book that will hold your attention. It concerns speech, its idioms, clichés, and its echoes of repetitions that have become synonymous with the electronic era.”
Gibson has been featured on NPR, magazines, journals and in anthologies such as Good Poems American Places. He has received fellowships from the McKnight Foundation and the Jerome Foundation. He lives in Minneapolis and is a member of the board of directors of the Loft Literary Center.
