Come spend the day listening to authors of all stripes (including Rumpus favorites Sam Irby, Dimitry Samarov, Martha Bayne, and Aleksander Hemon) talk about their passions and projects. Buy books, network with publishers, and take part in writing workshops. 11 AM, Free, St. Augustine College.

Monday 11/25: Stop by Do Not Submit to work on your pieces in progress. 7:30 PM, Free, Powell’s.

Tuesday 11/26: Come get filthy with the rest of Chicago. The Moth presents an evening of stories on “dirt”. 8 PM, $8, Martyrs’.

Friday 11/29: Clare Zulkey hosts Funny Ha-Ha once again. Come listen to some of the funniest Chicago literary muscle liven up your Friday night. 6:30 PM, $5 (donated to the Neighborhood Writing Alliance), The Hideout.
