If you take the bait, it’s pretty necessary that you imagine the Jaws theme while reading. Keep keeping an eye out for the bees—but sharks, it seems, may be doing just fine. At least great whites.

New tech like Ocearch’s shark tracking website isn’t just blowing the minds of shark fans; it’s blowing researchers’s minds as well. “Every track is giving us new information and going contrary to all the assumptions that we’re going on,” Robert Hueter, director of the center for shark research at Mote Marine Laboratory, told the wire.
